Congratulations to the staff at Joe Harris Elementary School for celebrating a successful and belated Ribbon Cutting for their school. The ribbon cutting ceremony, originally scheduled for last summer, was postponed due to COVID-19 restrictions. But on August 5, the school officially dedicated the building to Deputy Joe Harris and his trusty canine Harley.
The touching ceremony ended with Joe Harris' grandchildren cutting the ribbon to officially let parents and guardians see the school for the first time. The school served students last year in the hybrid model, but was closed to the public due for safety. This event marked the first time parents and guardians walked the halls of the school and got to see all of the amazing features of this state-of-the-art facility.
